Vaping is now becoming increasingly popular as an alternative medication. A recent study showed that there have been four times the amount of benzene and three times the quantity of acrylamide in the vapor of e-cigs, in comparison to using tobacco.
While there are a variety of concerns about the long term effects on the lungs of people that use e-cigs, the best danger of all to both smoker and the nonsmoker is the short term damage to the respiratory system. The electronic cigarette vapor has a variety of ingredients, a few of that may irritate the lungs and cause coughing and wheezing, while some are actually toxic to the lungs.
